Design Brief
A house for a family of 5 , the brief was to create an interior design that exudes luxury in a chic contemporary setting. As the couple owns a family business of beauty products, they wanted a home that exudes sophistication with a warm atmosphere. The husband has a passion for sports cars and working out at the gym.
Client Testimony
“We’re very happy with the delivery of the project, and Joshua even took extra care of small but important details in the workmanship at every corner, even for our custom-made furniture pieces. We will definitely want to work with Joshua again for our future renovations.”
Design Concept
Our interior designer, Joshua looked to the lifestyle of his clients and sought inspiration from their personal collections to derive a befitting design concept for their new dream home.
After studying various designs of high end watches and apparel of the clientele, their needs were narrowed down to a theme of understated luxury and elegance. This provided the direction for the clients to achieve their dream of a beautiful abode.
To articulate this concept in a contemporary setting, a selection of color palettes and textures were carefully selected to express the vision of our clients. white marble panels were paired with a palette of gold and bronze trims in the living room while dark marble panels paired with mirrors were used in the bedroom to achieve a luxurious interior finish. The bedroom TV wall is also lined with emperador marble, timber and ambient lighting to create a cosy respite. Furniture pieces were also customized with a high degree of personalization for the clients.
Constraints
As with all projects, a balance had to be struck between the budget and aspiration of the client. Our interior designer Joshua curated the materials that was affordable yet attuned to the client’s desire for a bespoke interior. He rose to the challenge, surpassed expectations and oversaw the entire project from concept to completion.
Budget: $200,000
