Design Brief
The client, a woman in her late 40s, has a passion for singing, fashion and traveling. She requested our designer Joshua to create a home of ultra-fine living and minimalist aesthetics, with reflective surfaces and textures to celebrate her personality.
Client Testimony
“Truly impressed with what I saw in my new home. The design and construction process went smoothly and all my requests for what i wish to have in my new apartment were addressed and met. I’m glad I chose Joshua to design my home.”
Design Concept
Due to space constraints, Joshua had to strike a balance for the client with special considerations toward the separation of private and public spaces. To attain the complex spatial needs within a small footprint of space, he decided to use mirrors to create a sense of visual continuity between what is private and public. Therefore, a concept of modern-contemporary minimalism was adopted to achieve a clean, uncluttered and airy interior.
The defining aesthetic of this home lies in its color palette, with walnut tones paired with pale marbles strongly conveying its apparent minimalism and allowing the original architectural form and elements of the apartment to become axiomatic.
