Design Brief

The client, a bachelor who works at an international bank, needed a home defined by subtle sophistication and simplicity. With an interest in fine dining, he also requested special attention to colours and spatial configurations to achieve a fresh, sleek and contemporary home.

Design Concept

Using the finest details and textures, our designer introduced a concept of openness to achieve the sophistication and simplicity in the client’s brief.

We articulated the space through simple screen doors and separation devices such as walls to add a palatial quality to the apartment. We opted to achieve a space that felt warm and welcoming through the use of natural tones and timbers, despite being designed with a modern-contemporary format. Strong emphasis was also placed on the direct connection between indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing natural light to permeate through the home, resulting in a beautiful personal retreat of convivial qualities married with principles of truly fine living and sophistication.
